Ukrainian government has ordered its troops withdrawal from Crimea following to the peninsula's annexation by Russia.
Ukrainian Acting President Oleksander Turchinov, said that the government will also evacuate all parliament members and their families to the mainland.
"The National Defence and Security Council has instructed the Defense Ministry to carry out a re-deployment of military units in Crimea and carry out the evacuation of their families," Turchinov said as reported by Al Jazeera.
Al Jazeera reported that Russia has quickly streamlined local administration officers along the Russian borders.
Crimea first deputy prime minister Rustam Temirgaliyev told Ria Novosti that "all Ukrainian military personnel have either joined Russia or are leaving Crimea."
